It's been nearly 10 months since state worker Richard McQuown's body was found with a stab wound under the Walnut Street bridge in Harrisburg, and friends and family hope that continued awareness of his death may help police find who killed him.
For up to eight months after they start kindergarten, many central Pennsylvanai students will be mixing with peers who have not been vaccinated against measles and other preventable diseases. And many, including Pennsylvania's secretary of health, say that's not a good situation.
Only a small percentage of Pennsylvania families claim an exemption to the state's vaccination requirements. The much larger problem is that many children are not up-to-date on their vaccines at the start of school.
